Starting today, there is a code of conduct, namely the Contributor Covenant 1.1, to guide communication around this project. We don’t have a very big community, and there haven’t been any serious incidents so far, but defining an explicit code of conduct is a signal I am very happy to send.
This basically means that I am committing myself to moderating the mailing list, forum, and issue tracker to kick out abusive people. Unless you are a horrible or very tactless person, you have very little to fear from this. If, on the other hand, you’ve been hesitant about contributing or asking questions because you feel you might be ridiculed, I hope this helps convince you to jump in.
I myself will also try harder to be patient and constructive with inexperienced people.
