Should there be an option to position the dialog so it doesn’t cover any of the user’s text?
I’ve gotten feedback that using search/replace is a bit nerve-wracking because you never know if something will be replaced on the first line/s of the editor.
This is probably a good idea, and I’m definitely taking it into account when writing the dialog code for version 6, but I’m not sure I’ll get around to implementing it in version 5.
