Display image at cursor (not focused)

I have an image (a finger pointing) that I want to display when the editor blurs, then on refocus removes it. (where the cursor would be).

I can handle the events - but I can’t figure out how to place the image.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You could do a bookmark with a widget, styled to not take up any space, or overlay the image over the editor using cursorCoords.
