I am utilizing only basic syntax highlighter for relatively small documents and CodeMirror.fromTextArea API. It works well so far.
From what I read about migration to v6, it’s build and load changes and CodeMirror.fromTextArea API not being available in v6,I understand that it will require for me some time to move to v6.
I would appreciate if you could please share your plans on when v5 will be no longer maintained.

I don’t make any specific promises about this, but maintenance at its current (rather low) level is likely to continue for a long time.
