How to get the value of codemirror after type space ?

If I type on codemirror : hello world

then I want the first character after space … in above sample I want to character “w” when the user write it … I try ‘cursorActivity’ but it did not be useful here any help ?

That would be the change or beforeChange event, I suppose, but I’m clear
