Is there a zipped browser version to try out?
No. The new version just provides the ES modules, setting up a bundler or loader is something the user of the package has to do.
As mentioned before, I don’t develop on Github so I am unfamiliar with the process.
If a compiled zip was available (or a compile script + guide), I might be able to test & contribute to the CM6.
