R language support in v6

Hello, Codemirror 5 supported R language - CodeMirror: R mode

I didn’t find any @codemirror/lang-r package on npm.

However there’s this codemirror-lang-r package which isn’t updated since last 2 years. Is this official R language support for v6?

No. But maybe you can use it anyway.

Until then, what is the officially recommended way to use R language in v6?

No plans. So use a 3rd party package like the one you already found.
