We are starting to integrate Codemirror 6 in our product with our own grammar and autocompletion in a new feature. Since Codemirror 6 is still in beta, we would really like to have a timeframe / roadmap of the RC and first release of the library. This would help us to plan the development effort and the release of the new feature.
Is it possible to provide a roadmap with rough dates?
Sorry, no. Every time I try to give specific prediction I just end up disappointing people. You are encouraged to start using the library as is, if you’re willing to deal with (small) breaking changes in subsequent releases. Things aren’t going to change radically anymore. But properly finalizing stuff takes time, and the amount it takes is hard to predict.

Will there be a 5.x to 6.x migration guide soon to help people make the jump?
The interfaces are sufficiently different that you should probably treat this as learning a new library more than a migration.
